Financial trouble in your company?
Pick what applies to you and read straight away what you can do. Jacob van Aalst thinks it through with you personally.
What are you dealing with?
Cash is running short
More is going out than coming in. Jacob lists income, fixed costs and unpaid invoices with you and looks at what can be done now: payment arrangements, factoring or lower costs.
Discuss this with JacobThe Tax Administration keeps sending reminders
Tax debt grows fast. If your company cannot pay payroll tax or VAT, file a notice of inability to pay in time. Otherwise you can become personally liable as a director. Jacob helps with the notice and a payment arrangement.
Discuss this with JacobThe bank is cancelling my credit
There is often still room to talk. With the numbers in order, you go to the bank with a well-founded plan, or look for another lender together.
Discuss this with JacobA creditor is threatening bankruptcy
It does not have to be the end. A payment arrangement, a creditor agreement (WHOA) or a restart can still be possible. The sooner you call, the more can be done.
Discuss this with JacobI want to close my company
That can be done responsibly, even with debts: through a turbo liquidation when nothing is left, otherwise through a prepared bankruptcy. Jacob helps you choose the right route and record everything properly.
Discuss this with JacobI have given a personal guarantee
Then the company also affects your private finances. Jacob maps your guarantees and the current account with your company and looks at how to limit your personal risk.

What we help with
Every situation is different. These are the three routes that fit most often.
Restructuring
The company is viable, but costs, financing or creditor agreements must change. Sometimes through a court-approved WHOA agreement.
About restructuringRestart
The healthy core continues in a new company. Staff and customers are often kept that way.
About a restartClosing down responsibly
The company is wound up carefully: a turbo liquidation when nothing is left, otherwise a prepared bankruptcy.

Frequently asked questions
When should I get in touch?
As soon as payment arrears build up or creditors start to push. The earlier, the more routes are still open.
Can I close my company while it still has debts?
Sometimes. If the company has no assets left, a turbo liquidation is possible, but you must account for it properly. Otherwise another route is needed.
Am I personally liable?
In principle not, but you can be in cases of improper management, a late notice of inability to pay tax, or a personal guarantee.
What does it cost?
The introduction is free. Even if we don't work together afterwards, you leave with a clearer picture of your situation and, where it fits, the right contact: free help, a lawyer or a specialist. If we do work together, you always get a fixed price or a quote up front.
Is my situation treated confidentially?
Yes. What you share with us stays between us.
